Summary

A worn privacy fence and sagging gate can make any yard feel less secure and much harder to access. That was the case for this Little Rock home, where the old fence section and gate had seen better days. The homeowner wanted not just a replacement, but an improved entry point with a wider custom gate.

The Work

Removed a 12-foot section of aging 6-foot privacy fence and existing gate
Installed new posts and privacy fence panels using locally sourced wood
Built and mounted a 48-inch wide custom gate for easier access
Set new hardware and reinforced the gate for smooth, lasting use

The Outcome

The new fence and custom gate instantly gave the backyard a more finished look and restored privacy. The wider gate now opens and closes without dragging, making it much easier to move larger items in and out. This upgrade also brought peace of mind for the homeowner, knowing the entry is solid and secure.
